This international event is hosted every two years by a different country. This event hosts teams from 16 nations around the world! Throughout this competition, each country will ride for gold medals in cutting, reining, horsemanship, ranch riding, trail, ranch riding, hunt seat equitation, hunter under saddle, and showmanship.
This is a unique event because competing Youth World Cup team members do not show their own horses. The host country (USA) provides each team's horses for clinics and competition. Event planners rely on professional horsemen and owners to supply this event with the best American Quarter Horses to suit the different disciplines. Each International Affiliate sends a team of 2-5 team members. If you are interested, contact your country’s affiliate before the deadline!
After taking off three years to protect the health of our members, we are ready to be back!
The Youth World Cup is returning to Bryan/College Station, Texas, June 29th – July 8th, 2023!
Good luck to all of our youth!

"To me the lasting value in the Youth World Cup is in watching team members go out and strengthen our horse industry with their continued participation in equine activities across the U. S. and around the world. Many former members of Team USA are now in equine leadership positions around the country or have stayed active by becoming professional horsemen; and if you look around the world you will see that many leaders of international youth activities or equine associations were once members of an international team in the YWC. I love these kids!! I love the volunteers, sponsors, and horse donors who all give young people this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent their country, compete on an international stage, and make friends across the world. Surely our quarter horse world is better because of the Youth World Cup! I know that I am better for having worked with all of you in this worthy event."
